All kinds of situations demand temporary power, from planned events to emergency services. There are lots of firms out there offering generators for hire. But even if you know your power nodes from your kVAs, it’s a confusing marketplace. To really stand out, a brand needs a different attitude.

Ample recognised that it’s not only the construction industry that hires generators. Hospitals, schools and colleges, business, festivals and outdoor events all need mobile power too.

We worked with Ample’s founders, rethinking the brand to appeal to those who hire generators all the time, and those who might do so once in a lifetime.

We found that these very different types of customer all share the same requirements: expertise, accessibility and reliability. We used this new positioning to rename the business, rethink the customer journey and create a visual identity system to work across all the brand’s touchpoints.
